Overview

This European Standard applies to junction boxes up to 1 500 V DC for use on photovoltaic modules according to application class A of EN 61730-1:2007.For junction boxes according to application classes B and C of EN 61730-1:2007, this standard can be used as a guideline. The responsible committee is K 373 "Photovoltaische Solarenergie-Systeme" ("Solar photovoltaic energy systems") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
