Overview

This European Standard applies to ceramic insulated bushings with a maximum voltage of up to 1 000 V, with rated currents from 250 A to 5 000 A and frequencies from 15 Hz to 60 Hz, for liquid filled transformers. The new edition improves and facilitates exchangeability of bushings by improved specifications with regard to dimensions and mechanical testing requirements. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 321.2 "Transformatoren, Leistungen und Abmessungen" ("Transformers, performances and dimensions") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
