Overview

This European Standard applies to ceramic and cast resin insulated bushings with a maximum voltage of more than 1 kV to 52 kV for equipment, with rated currents from 250 A to 3 150 A and frequencies from 15 Hz to 60 Hz, for liquid filled transformers. This standard specifies the essential dimensions to ensure exchangeability of bushings and appropriate fastening and exchangeability of separable connectors of corresponding rated values. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 321.2 "Transformatoren, Leistungen und Abmessungen" ("Transformers, performances and dimensions") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
