Overview

The standard DIN EN 4619 specifies the installation and removal procedure (hole profile, tools) of self-locking, self-broaching key, MJ thread inserts defined by EN standards, for aerospace applications. This standard EN 4619:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) declared the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD-STAN) responsible for the preparation of European standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente (Spiegelausschuss zu ISO/TC 20/SC 4)" ("Aerospace fasteners (Mirror Committee to ISO/TC 20/SC 4)") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
