Overview

This European Standard defines the requirements for the ordering, manufacture, testing, inspection and delivery of all forms of filler metal for brazing for aerospace applications. It shall be applied when referred to in the EN material standard unless otherwise specified on the drawing, order or inspection schedule. The EN 3875 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-02-05 AA "Metallische Werkstoffe" ("Metallic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
