This standard specifies the characteristics, qualification and acceptance requirements for quick release pins, single and double acting for aerospace applications. It is applicable whenever referred to. The standard EN 3777:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
