The DIN EN 3545 series of standards describes the properties of rectangular electrical connectors with and without rear sealing, plastic housings and locking systems for aerospace applications at operating temperatures from -55 °C to 175 °C. The new edition of Part 006 defines the pin coding and attachment system for mounting to a fixed connector in the family of rectangular electrical connectors with and without rear seal. Compared to the previous edition DIN EN 3545-006:2007-10 the following changes have been made: The images were designed to be language-neutral, the concentricity information was assigned to image 3, and in image 1 the reference to the corresponding image of detail X was changed. The standards of the EN 3645 series are prepared by ASD-STAN, Department of Electrical Engineering, with the collaboration of German experts from the DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the aerospace sector. The responsible German standardization body is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Electrical Connectors" at the DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
This document replaces DIN EN 3545-006:2007-10 .
