Overview

This standard specifies the nominal sizes, pressure terms and pressure classes concerning pipelines and types and temperature range of flexible non-metallic hose assemblies used on board aircraft to convey liquids and gases as well as for the transmission of forces. This standard EN 2245:2012 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-02 AA "Fluidische Systeme und Komponenten" ("Fluidic systems and components") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN. The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) declared the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD-STAN) responsible for the preparation of European standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. ASD became the associated body (ASB) of CEN by the agreement dated 1986-10-03.
