This document is an amendment to DIN EN 1991-1-3. The main change relates to the modification of the specifications regarding the design coefficients for snow loads on roofs. DIN EN 1991-1-3 itself contains principles for the determination of values for snow loads for the calculation and design of buildings and engineering structures. DIN EN 1991-1-3 does not apply to buildings at a height of more than 1 500 m. Advice on the treatment of snow loads for heights above 1 500 m can be found in the National Annex. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 250 "Structural Eurocodes", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The committee responsible is NA 005-51-02 AA "Einwirkungen auf Bauten (SpA zu CEN/TC 250/SC 1)" ("Actions on structures (mirror committee of CEN/TC 250/SC 1)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
