CEN/TC 250 decided in 2008 that no revision of the Eurocodes shall be carried out at least until March 2013. However, necessary amendments and corrigenda of the Eurocodes could be published until March 2013. This decision led to a large number of amendments and corrigenda, which were mostly published as separate documents. For better applicability of the Eurocodes together with these separate documents, the DIN prepares consolidated versions as new versions for all Eurocodes affected by this. These consolidated versions then contain the current amendments and corrigenda. In this context, the mentions of replacement on the Eurocodes are also supplemented accordingly. A new edition is also published, even if only the superseding note is to be supplemented. DIN EN 1991-1-2 deals with the determination of thermal and mechanical actions on structures exposed to fire. This standard applies in conjunction with the fire design parts of the DIN EN 1992 to DIN EN 1996 standard series and DIN EN 1992 (part 1-2 in each case), which contain the material related rules for designing structures for fire resistance. European Corrigendum EN 1991-1-2:2002/AC:2009 has been incorporated into this new edition. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-52-22 AA "Konstruktiver baulicher Brandschutz (Spiegelausschuss zu Teilbereichen von CEN/TC 250)" ("Structural fire protection (Mirror Committee to parts of CEN/TC 250/SC 3)") at DIN.
