Overview

This European Standard describes a test method for the determination of the linear electric resistance of conductive tracks for textile structures or intended for application in/ to textiles, such as yarns, printed or coated tracks, ropes, ribbons and webbing. This European Standard is designed for materials showing ohmic behaviour. This European Standard is designed for conductive tracks where electrical contact between the measurement electrodes and the conductive track is possible. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 "Smart textiles", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 106-01-19 AA "Intelligente Textilien; SpA zu CEN/TC 248/WG 31" ("Smart textiles; Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 248/WG 31") at DIN Standards Committee Textiles and Textile Machinery (Textilnorm).
