This European Standard specifies a method for carrying out artificial accelerated photoageing of test specimens by exposing them to medium pressure filtered mercury vapour lamp as light source, under controlled temperature conditions. This document (DIN EN 16472:2014) has been prepared by CEN/TC 249 "Plastics" at Working Group CEN/TC 249/WG 19 "Light exposure", the secretariat of which is held by NBN (Belgium). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 054-01-04 AA "Verhalten gegen Umgebungseinflüsse" ("Environmental resistance") at the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK) at DIN.
