This European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 164 "Water supply" (secretariat: AFNOR, France). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA "Wasseraufbereitung" ("Drinking water treatment") of the Water Practice Standards Committee (NAW).
