DIN EN 16081:2011-11

This European Standard is applicable to the performance and safety requirements of fire extinguishing systems and the associated test methods for multi-place chambers designed for pressures in excess of ambient atmospheric pressure and employed in medical installations for therapeutic purposes, in the following referred to as chambers. This standard differs from DIN 13256-3:2001-08 as follows: a) the title of the standard has been changed; b) the standard content has been completely revised and the order of sections has been modified; c) terms and definitions have been added; d) an informative Annex B dealing with the operation of fire extinguishing systems has been included; e) an informative Annex ZA dealing with the relationship between this European Standard and the essential requirements of EU Directive 93/42/EEC has been included. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 053-03-07 AA "Druckkammern" ("Hyperbaric chambers") at DIN.
