DIN EN 15969-2:2011-12

This standard describes the data structure needed for tour management, scheduling orders of measured and unmeasured products online to the truck. Processed orders are transferred back to the host in the office at once or later every time the truck is online. It specifies the transfer of commercial logistic data between transport vehicle equipment, on board computer of the track vehicle and stationary vehicle equipment, on board computer of the tank vehicle and stationary facilities for all communication channels between these parties. DIN EN 15969-2 replaces DIN 26051-1 "Data interface for tank trucks and transport vehicles - Part 1: Commercial and logistic data". The following significant modifications have been made with respect to DIN 26051-1:2000-07: a) Online handling of the backlogs of orders on the vehicle is enabled; b) possibilities of the addition of description and information fields for the printout have been incorporated; c) manufacturer-specific additions on the mechanism of annotations have been allowed, d) data fields have been updated. This European Standard has been prepared by Working Group 8 "Electronic equipment and products" (secretariat: DIN) of Technical Committee CEN/TC 296 "Tanks for transport of dangerous goods" (secretariat: France). Regarding German collaboration, the Committee responsible for the preparation is Working Committee NA 104-02-04 AA "Überfüllsicherungen und Füllstandsanzeiger" ("Overfill prevention devices and tank content gauges") at the Tank Installations Standards Committee (NATank) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V.
