The standard DIN EN 15357 defines terms and definitions concerned in all standardization work within the scope of CEN/TC 343, that means, terms used in the field of production and trade of solid recovered fuels that are prepared from non-hazardous waste. The European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 343 "Solid recovered fuels", the secretariat of which is held by SFS (Finland). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-83 AA "Sekundärbrennstoffe" ("Recovered fuels") of NMP.
