This European Standard defines a method for the assessment of electricity generation onsite or nearby the building environment onsite or nearby the building through wind power systems (WPS) and energy performance calculation of wind power systems. The WPS described in this document are small plants as they may occur in domestic production and use of electricity in connection with specific buildings. This standard covers wind generation power systems ≤ 75 kW. In Germany, the Directive on the energy performance of buildings (2010/31/EU) of the European Parliament and the European Council is primarily implemented by national energy conservation law. National energy conservation law refers to dated national and European standards and national pre-standards that have been specified to be implemented in Germany. Due to dated references, only these editions of the technical rules are applicable. If the dated technical rules applicable according to national energy conservation law refer to undated technical rules, the respective edition that was valid at the time of the edition of the dated technical rule is applicable. NA 041-05-01 AA "Energetische Bewertung heiz- und raumluft-technischer Anlagen" (SpA ISO/TC 205 "Umweltgerechte Gebäudeplanung") ("Energy performance of heating and ventilation systems in buildings (Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 205 "Building environment design")") at DIN Standards Committee Heating and Ventilation Technology and their Safety (NHRS) is responsible for the German version of the standard.
