The European Standard is a new edition. It also contains information on physical and chemical properties and general information on the manufacture and application of the products. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking Water Treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German collaboration of Subcommittee NA 119-07-04-01 UA Aufbereitungsstoffe und -anlagen ("Chemicals and plants for water treatment") at NAW.
