DIN EN 14116:2014-12

This European Standard covers the digital interface at the product loading and/or discharge coupling which is used for the transfer of product related information and specifies the performance requirements, critical safety aspects and tests to provide compatibility of devices. It specifies a digital interface which is suitable for use with liquid fuels. With the included amendment in clause 4 the optional function of overfill prevention was added, 5.7 "Electrical requirements for hoses" is revised and Table 20 "Message #9 - acknowledgement" in 6.7.11 is corrected. The European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 296 "Tanks for transport of dangerous goods" (secretariat: AFNOR, France). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was Working Committee NA 104-02-04 AA "Überfüllsicherungen und Füllstandsanzeiger" ("Overfill prevention devices and tank content gauges") of the DIN Standards Committee Tank Installations (NATank).
