DIN EN 13605:2013-09

This European Standard specifies the composition, property requirements including electrical properties, and tolerances on dimensions and form for copper profiles and profiled wire for electrical purposes, which would fit within a circumscribing circle of maximum 180 mm diameter. These products are especially suitable for electrical purposes, that is with specified electrical properties. Informative Annex A gives guidance on the characteristics of coppers for electrical purposes. The sampling procedures, the test methods for verification of conformity to the requirements of this standard and the delivery conditions are also specified. This European Standard (EN 13605:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 133 "Copper and copper alloys" (secretariat: DIN, Germany) of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). Regarding the German collaboration, Working Committee NA 066-02-04 AA "Strangpress- und Zieherzeugnisse" ("Extruded and drawn products") of the Nonferrous Metals Standards Committee (FNNE) is responsible.
