This standard defines relevant requirements set out in Annex I of the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, relating to machines which were placed on the European Economic Area (EEA) market for the first time, with the intent of simplifying the means of proving conformity with such requirements. Once this standard is designated a harmonized standard in the Official Journal of the European Communities, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (the so-called presumption of conformity). This standard applies for: curing injection machines with infeed and outfeed devices; curing injection machines with infeed and outfeed devices and loading devices. This standard does not apply to portable/hand guided curing injection devices. This document deals with all significant hazards and hazardous events relevant to curing injection machines when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see clause 4). This standard deals with the hazards which can arise during commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of the curing injection machines. This document is not applicable to curing injection machines which were manufactured before this document was published by CEN.
This document replaces DIN EN 13534:2006-12 .
