DIN EN 13480-3/A4:2010-10

This Amendment 4 to EN 13480-3:2002 has been prepared by CEN/TC 267 ("Metallic industrial piping and pipelines"). The amendment contains an informative Annex Q concerning simplified pipe stress analysis which has been added to EN 13480-3 "Metallic industrial piping - Part 3: Design and calculation". Thus this part deals with a partial aspect of the EN 13480 standard series which describes requirements for industrial piping systems and their supports manufactured from metallic materials (for the time being, however, limited to steels), aiming at secure operating conditions. Regarding the German collaboration, the responsible Standards Committee is NA 082-00-17 AA "Industrielle Rohrleitungen" ("Industrial piping") at the Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee (NARD). It is planned to include the contents of this document in one of the next issues of DIN EN 13480-3.
