The national Mirror Committee responsible for this standard which has been prepared by CEN/TC 129 "Glass in Building" and which contains the 2006 edition, including Amendment 1, is Working Committee NA 005-09-27 "Geklebte Glasfassaden" ("Structural Glazing"). In comparison to EN 13022-2:2006, informative Annex A of this revised version contains, amongst other things, modifications for the conditioning of test specimens. The standard test specimens for water/hot water immersion and conditioning in air are stored at (23 ± 2) °C for (24 ± 2) h to (48 ± 2) h. Only "(24 ± 2) h" was previously mentioned. Furthermore, the statement for the total factor "tot = 6" has been changed into an equation in some subclauses of informative Annex B. Furthermore, notes with recommendations for handling lower values of the total factor "tot" or, in case of absence of national values, have been added in Annex B. In normative Annex C the requirements for cutting and peeling have been specified more precisely in the description of the test method (C.3.3) so that cutting and peeling must now be repeated until the bead is peeled over 2/3 of the length of the substrate. The European Standard deals with the assembly of glass elements in windows, doors and curtain walling structures or directly in the building by structural bonding of the glass element into or onto a framework or directly in the building. It gives information to the assembler to enable him to organise work and comply with requirements regarding quality control. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-09-27 AA "Geklebte Glasfassaden (Sp CEN/TC 129/WG 16)" ("Structural Glazing (Sp CEN/TC 129/WG 16)") at DIN.
