Overview

The requirements for high security electronic locks (HSL) which are controlled remotely have been added to the new edition of the European Standard EN 1300. Thus, clause 3 has been extended; 5.1.6 "Electronic tokens" and 5.1.7 "Requirements for cryptography in distributed security systems" have been added. On the national level, the committee responsible for this standard is Working Committee NA 020-00-15 "Hochsicherheitsschlösser" ("High security locks").
