Overview
This European Standard describes galvanic anodes for use in sea water and saline mud and specifies the minimum requirements and gives recommendations for the physical tolerances, the electrochemical properties, and the test and inspection procedures for cast galvanic anodes of aluminium, magnesium and zinc based alloys for cathodic protection. This standard is not directed at quality assurance. This European Standard is applicable to the majority of galvanic anodes suitable for use for seawater and saline mud applications.
