The European Standard specifies the test methods for gas-fired sorption appliances for heating and/or cooling with a net heat input not exceeding 70 kW. This standard deals in particular with test protocols and means for calculating the power, efficiency of gas utilisation and electrical power consumption of the tested appliance. These data may be used, in particular, for calculation of the seasonal performances of the appliance.
