The EN 10294 standard series specifies the technical delivery conditions for seamless steel hollow bars intended for the manufacture of engineering components by machining. Part 1 of this standard describes requirements for non-alloy and alloy steels, while in Part 2 requirements for austenitic stainless steels (including creep resisting steels) and austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steels, with specified machinability properties are presented.
