Overview

This European Standard specifies the methods for determining the geometric characteristics of clay tiles as defined in EN 1304, "Clay roofing tiles and fittings - Product definitions and specifications". The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN 1024:1997-06: a) in Equations (7) and (8), the differential height has been replaced by the absolute value of the differential height for the calculation of the evenness coefficient in the clause "Evenness"; b) the standard has been editorially revised. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-02-03 AA "Dachziegel (SpA zu CEN/TC 128/SC 3)" ("Clay roofing tiles (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 128/SC 3)") at DIN.
