The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France). The responsible German standardization committee is DIN-DVGW Joint Committee NA 119-07-13 AA "Aufbereitungsstoffe und -anlagen" ("Chemicals and plants for water treatment") at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
