This collection of decisions and interpretations on the series of standards on the safety of household appliances (DIN EN 60335) is updated at regular intervals. New decisions have been added. Old, no longer required interpretations have been deleted. In the new edition the order of decisions has been optimized. In addition to this complete collection, supplements which refer to only one part of a standard are published. These supplements are published at shorter intervals than this compilation. The responsible committee is K 511 "Sicherheit elektrischer Hausgeräte" ("Safety of household appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
