Overview

This standard describes the flange at the transfer point of the line from the tank for oil residues to the transfer line outside the ship in accordance with the MARPOL Convention. It specifies an internationally standardized, distinctive special flange as well as the matching blind flange and flat gasket for sealing. Flanges with six different center holes are specified for DN 40 to DN 125, and the standard contains information on dimensions, materials and masses. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections") at DIN.
