Overview

This standard applies to slackline systems installed at jump height. It specifies terms and definitions, safety requirements for the material and all components used, including the mounting, as well as the allowed load, assembly, test methods, marking and the instructions for use. The standard does not apply to slackline systems which are part of a safety system against falling. This is a product standard for: - planning/calculation of gymnasiums - testing of slacklines. The standard deals with, amongst others, aspects of - tree protection/environmental protection - (product) safety. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 112-01-12 AA "Slacklines" ("Slacklines") at DIN.
