DIN 7863 which consists of Parts 1 and 2 specifies requirements for elastomer materials for the manufacture of elastomer gaskets for use in window and façade construction. Part 2 of the standard describes the requirements for elastomer materials for cellular glazing and panel gaskets. The standard has been prepared by NA 045-02-10-01 AK "Fensterdichtungen" ("Window gaskets").
