About this product

Elastomer seal rings are used as press fitting connections in drinking water installations.

Pipe connections should have a minimum lifetime of 50 years, and by guaranteeing the leaktightness of the system, elastomer seal rings make an essential contribution to the long-term reliability of these connections.

The test method described in the standard enables conclusions to be drawn on the long-term reliability of elastomers under conditions typical of those found in practice.
