DIN 7588-1:2017-11

This standard is considered an overview for metallic flat sealing unions and threaded components for domestic water supply PN 10. This standard has been prepared by standards committee NA 003-02-02 AA "Armaturen für die Trinkwasserinstallation in Gebäuden" ("Valves for potable water supply in buildings") at Standards Committee Valves (NAA). This standard has been prepared in agreement with DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e. V. (DVGW German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). It has been incorporated into the DVGW's water regulations as a DVGW technical rule. The standards DIN 7584:1980-12, DIN 7585:1980-12, DIN 7588:1994-03, DIN 7589:1994-03, DIN 7591:1981-01, DIN 7592:1981-01 and DIN 7593: 1981-01 have been summarized in the standards DIN 7588-1 and DIN 7588-2. The aforementioned standards will be withdrawn upon publication of DIN 7588-1 and DIN 7588-2. Some terms have been systematically revised. The normative references have been revised in the course of preparation of the standard.
