DIN 7353:2014-06

This standard specifies requirements for marking punches for metal. These marking punches may also be used for marking other materials like wood, leather or plastics; therefore, this standard is intended to replace DIN 7354. In addition to the dimensions for marking punches with different size categories dependent on the type height of the characters to be punched, the DIN standard specifies details regarding the material, design and marking of these punching tools, including the requirements for the typeface of the punched characters. Moreover, it specifies the standard designation "impact tool". This German standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-12 AA "Schlagwerkzeuge" ("Impact tools") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
