This document has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee NA 131-02-06 AA "Additive Fertigungsverfahren in der Luft- und Raumfahrt" ("Additive manufacturing processes in aerospace") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). This standard specifies the requirements for metallic powder for use in additive manufacturing with the powder bed process for aerospace applications. This standard can also be used for other fields of application if this has been contractually agreed. This standard shall be applied in connection with material-specific provisions, except when other specifications have been laid out in the definition document, order or contractual documents.
