DIN 628-5:2011-06

This document has been prepared by the Rolling Bearings and Plain Bearings Standards Committee (NAWGL), Working Committee NA 118-01-02 AA "Kugellager und Spannlager einschließlich Teile, allgemeines Wälzlagerzubehör und Gehäuse" ("Ball bearings and inside bearings, including parts, general rolling bearings accessories and housings"). This standard specifies dimensions, pre-tension forces and symbols for double row radial ball bearings without filling slots with spacer balls. In consideration of the general plan of boundary dimensions stated in DIN 616, it offers an adjusted selection of radial ball bearings of this design for the practical needs of the user. With respect to DIN 628-5:1994-06, the following modifications have been made: a) the standard has been completely revised; b) weights in Table 1 have been deleted; c) radial and axial direction chamfer dimensions r_1s and r_2s in Table 1 for double row radial ball bearings with spacer balls with the abbreviated terms UK 30, UK 80, UK 85 and UK 95 have been adjusted to DIN 616; d) normative references have been updated; e) bibliography has been incorporated.
