Overview

This document applies for cylindrical aluminium tubes according to DIN EN 13046. The test is intended for determination of the deformability of the tube body. The values determined for the deformability indicate if the tube can be closed after filling by means of a folding type according to DIN 5060. The following amendments have been made with regard to DIN 55436-2:1990-07: a) diameter of 50 mm incorporated; b) normative references updated; c) Figure 1 designed in a language-neutral manner; d) editorial amendments. The standard has been revised by Working Committee NA 115-02-08 AA "Tuben" ("Tubes") at the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp).
