Overview

This standard specifies a test method for flexible packagings, for instance bags and flexible deep-drawing packagings which serve the realistic determination of the opening force on peelable packagings. The test method is relevant for development, quality assurance directly within the packing process or after transport, transshipment and storage as well as for comparative investigations and checking of previously determined target values. The document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 115-02-01 AA "Flexible, flächige Packmittel - Folien, Säcke, Beutel, Tragetaschen" ("Flexible, flat means of packaging - Foils, sacks, bags, carrier bags") at the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp).
