Overview

This standard specifies a method for determining the shear strength of wood-based panels parallel to the plane. In comparison to DIN 52367:2002-05 the scope of application, which was previously limited to particleboard, has been extended. In principle, the test method can also be applied to other wood-based panels, in particular oriented strand boards (OSB) and fibreboard using the dry method (MDF). This standard has been prepared by DIN Committee NA 042-02-15 AA "Holzwerkstoffe - Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 112 und ISO/TC 89" ("Wood-based panels - Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 112 and ISO/TC 89").
