This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-03-13 AA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NA 062/FGSV: Gesteinskörnungen; Prüfverfahren, Petrographie, Probenahme und Präzision" ("Joint working group NA 062/FGSV: Aggregates; test methods, petrography, sampling and precision") of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP). This document specifies test methods for the determination of the dry bulk density of aggregates with a grain size less or equal to 63 mm by means of the cylinder method and calculation method for the determination of the ratio of density and the total porosity.
