Overview

This standard specifies dimensions, tolerances, materials and designations for punches with trombone neck. Punches with trombone neck (LPH) in accordance with this standard are used for the highest requirements. The retraction forces are absorbed particularly well by the head of the punch. Successful areas of application: - high-strength material, for example CK 75 tensile strength approx. 1 400 N/mm2; - processing of stainless materials; - with high retraction forces, for example with large sheet thicknesses; - in the event of head tear-offs. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
