DIN 51032:2017-07

This standard specifies maximum values for the release of lead and cadmium during cold extraction in accordance with DIN EN 1388-1 and DIN EN 1388-2 for consumer goods made of ceramic material, glass and glass-ceramic. This standard applies to tableware and kitchen utensils, cooking and baking utensils, packaging containers and storage containers as well as to other consumer goods made of ceramic material, glass and glass-ceramic which are intended to come into contact with food. It applies to decorative objects if contact with food cannot be excluded during their foreseeable use. This standard does not apply to doll's kitchenware.
