Overview

The standard is an updated new edition. It specifies the dimensions, designation, materials and requirements for overlay welding for seamless casings with threaded connections for the production of cased boreholes in the ground. The boreholes can be used, for example, for ground exploration, for wells or for groundwater measuring points. The standard has been prepared by DIN-DVGW-Gemeinschaftsunterausschuss NA 119-07-03-01 AA "Bauteile und Produkte für Bohrtechnik und Brunnenbau" ("Components and products for drilling technology and well construction") at NAW.
