Overview

This standard specifies the relevant requirements for sealing caps with the dimensions 8 mm up to and including 63 mm in diameter. The parts are used, for example, for the sealing of drilled holes in the production process or for the sealing of oil wells in engine blocks. The standard describes a conical shape A and a cylindrical shape B. This standard is a dimensional and product standard which specifies dimensions and technical delivery conditions. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 067-00-09-02 AK "Scheiben und Ringe" ("Washers and rings") at DIN.
