This standard applies to drainage pipes and fittings and their joints made from concrete used for the collection and discharge of leachate outside the sealing of landfills. For general requirements for concrete pipes and test methods, reference is made to EN 1916 and DIN V 1201. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 119-05-33 AA "Rohre und Schächte aus Beton für Abwasserkanäle und -leitungen (CEN/TC 165/WG 9)" ("Concrete pipes and manholes for drains and sewers (CEN/TC 165/WG 9)") of the NAW at DIN.
