DIN 4103-2:2017-09

This standard applies to the construction of internal non-loadbearing partitions made of gypsum blocks according to DIN EN 12859. It specifies the conditions under which the requirements according to DIN 4103-1 are considered to be met. When designed appropriately, the walls can fulfill fire protection, thermal insulation and/or sound insulation requirements. The walls can be constructed as single-leaf or multi-leaf walls with separate leaves, and can also be constructed as composite structures for special fire protection requirements or larger wall heights. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-09-10 AA "Gips und Gipsprodukte (SpA zu CEN/TC 241)" ("Gypsum and gypsum based products (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 241)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau). This standard takes into account the national minimum requirements for non-loadbearing partitions made of gypsum blocks according to DIN 4103-1 "Internal non-loadbearing partitions; requirements and verification".
