Overview

This document (DIN 4003-210) has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-07-02 AA "Aufbau von 3D-Modellen nach DIN 4000" ("Design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS). It applies in conjunction with DIN 4003-1 and DIN 4000-210 and defines the 3D modelling of stationary machine tools with or without NC/CNC control that are used for machining workpieces with tools with defined and undefined cutting edges. The alignment of the coordinate systems is carried out in accordance with DIN 4000-210. Machines are described in accordance with DIN 4000-210. The data exchange model contains the applicable geometrical elements to scale and relevant for collision considerations as well as the installation coordinate systems. The modelling of the individual machine assemblies serves their application in CNC programming and 3D simulation and is therefore limited to elements and assemblies located in the work area.
