DIN 4000-141:2016-10

This standard specifies properties for standardized and non-standardized hobs with bore or shank for cylindrical gears. This standard also applies to hobs with multiple cutting parts. Factual characteristics for gear data for the workpiece are specified in DIN 4000-140. All half-cut representations of hobs are shown with the rake face (top) approaching the viewer (top-coming). The standard differs from DIN 4000-141:2011-02 as follows: a) Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 15, 19 and 24 have been revised; b) Table 1, Table 2 and Table 6 have been revised; c) Characteristics in Table 2 and Table 6 have been revised; d) Normative references have been updated; e) Characteristic identifiers have been added; f) E12 Pitch angle has been included. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-07-04 AA " Merkmallisten Verzahnungswerkzeuge" ("Tabular layouts of properties for gearing tools") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
